Paige Bonner, DVM
Owner, Founder
Dr. Paige Bonner was born and raised in Point Pleasant, West Virginia (go ahead and look up the Mothman…). She received her bachelors degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences at West Virginia University, then attended Mississippi State University where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
While in Mississippi, Paige met her husband, Nick, who was in the US Air Force. She then followed Nick around the world. They started in Little Rock, Arkansas, then headed off to Tokyo, Japan where they spent 3 years eating sushi and even rode in life sized Mario Karts! San Antonio, Texas was next and rounded out Nick’s Air Force career as a C-130 pilot. In 2023, they moved to Ohio and plan to stay permanently.
Paige spends her time outside the clinic with Nick, their 2 daughters, 2 dogs (Sage and Sprinkles) and 2 cats (George and Inky). She also may be spotted knitting or reading romantasy novels.
Stephani Embleton
Registered Veterinary Technician
Stephani graduated in 2017 from Sinclair Community College, with an associates degree in Applied Animal Sciences. She has experience in general practice as well as emergency medicine. Stephani’s favorite areas of veterinary medicine are anesthesia, surgery, and behavior. She is also Fear Free and Cat Friendly certified. Her passion is helping fearful patients have a stress free experience.
In her time away from the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their Brady Bunch of 6 kids! She has many fur babies at home. 4 dogs- Charli, Groot, Rocket and Lulu; 2 cats- Alvin and Binx; and Echo the cockatiel!
Sydney Johnson
Veterinary Assistant
Sydney is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with a strong background in animal behavior and a love for providing compassionate, low-stress care. She is a certified Cat Friendly Professional, demonstrating her commitment to feline-friendly handling and care techniques. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to pursue becoming a Veterinary Technician. Known for her calm, patient demeanor and deep love for animals, Sydney strives to make every visit a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, her three dogs — Archie, Carmen, and Dottie — and watching Dancing with the Stars.
Bella Ledford
Veterinary Assistant
Bella is a dedicated veterinary assistant with a strong background in animal care and a lifelong passion for animal health and welfare. With experience supporting veterinarians in clinical settings, she is skilled in providing compassionate care to animals of all kinds. She is currently completing her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster, further advancing her knowledge and technical skills to better serve her patients.
Outside of her professional work, Bella owns a hobby farm filled with horses, goats, donkeys, and a variety of other animals. Her hands-on experience caring for her own animals deepens her understanding of animal behavior and well-being, allowing her to bring both expertise and genuine empathy to her work every day.
